Export Options
The Export Options dialog box is displayed when you export sources or nodes. Using this dialog box, you can export sources or nodes into other file formats—for example, you could export the text content in a node as a Microsoft Word document.
Options on this dialog
The options on this dialog vary depending on the type of project item you are exporting.
Export
These options are only available when you export nodes and certain types of sources (audio, video and pictures). Use these options to select the elements you want to export. You can select:

Entire Content Select this option to export everything and save it in an HTML format. For example, export all content coded at a node including audio, video, transcripts, pictures and logs.
- When exporting nodes you can select:

Reference View Select this option to export the text content (displayed in the reference tab).

Summary View Select this option to export the list of sources coded at the node (displayed in the summary tab).

When exporting picture sources you can select:

Picture Select this option to export only the picture.

Log Select this option to export only the text log.

When exporting audio or video sources containing imported media files, you can select:

Media Item Select this option to export only the audio or video.

Transcript Select this option to export the transcript.
Save As
Click the Browse button to change the name, location or format of the exported file. In the Save as type list, you can change the format of text based items like documents, transcripts, logs or the reference view of a node. You cannot change the format when you choose to export:

The entire content of nodes or certain sources—audio, video and pictures (HTML)

Pictures (jpg)
-
Audio files (exported in original format)
-
Video files (exported in original format)
Properties
These options are not available when you choose to export media items, pictures or the summary view of a node
Name Select this option, if you want to include the folder or hierarchical name. You can select from the following Formats:

Name only The item name only

Folder and Name The folder structure displayed in Navigation View, and the item name

Hierarchical Name The hierarchical structure displayed in List View and the item name

Folder and Hierarchical Name The folder structure displayed in Navigation View, and the hierarchical structure displayed in List View, and the item name
Description Select this option to include the description entered in the item's properties
Other Properties Select this option to include other item properties—for example, the date that the project item was created. This option is only available for sources—the properties vary depending on the type of item you are exporting.
Related Content
For audio, video and picture sources, these options are only available when choose to export Entire Content. For nodes, they are available when you choose to export Entire Content or Reference View.
Annotations Select this option to include annotations.
See Also Links Select this option to include 'see also' links.
Relationships Select this option to include relationships.
Memo Links Select this option to include memo links.
Other Options
Other include options vary depending on the type of item you are exporting.
Paragraph Numbers Select this option to display a number next to each paragraph in documents, memos, and externals.
Record ID Select this option to include the ID associated with dataset records (rows).
Column Headers Select this option to include the column headers associated with dataset columns (fields).
Classification Select this option to include the classification of the source or node.
Attributes Select this option to include a list of attributes or attribute values for a classified source or node.
Open on export option
Open on Export Select this option, if you want the exported file to open automatically when the export has completed.
